Our Quality Policy

In early 2019, the EFG Management Committee took the decision to obtain ISO 9001: 2015
Certification in time for the 20th Anniversary of EFG Engineers (Pty) Ltd in September 2020.
In order to ensure that the required Quality Management System components were implemented correctly and in the minimum required amount of time, a specialized Consultant (Joubert Corporate Engineers) were appointed to assist and guide us with the implementation process.

This process went smoothly and a Gap Audit held in late November 2019 confirmed that EFG was ready for the external Certification audit and the Stage 1 audit took place at the end of January 2020. We passed this audit, which confirmed that the ISO 9001:2015 requirements were fully embedded in our Quality Management Systems, and were cleared for the Stage 2 audit. After some slight delays due to Covid-19 pandemic the Stage 2 audit took place on 11 May 2020 and we passed with no corrective issues. BSI then carried out their verification process and we were exceedingly proud to be awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certification by BSI on 9 June 2020. This will enhance our Service Delivery to Clients and other Stakeholders going forward into our next 20 years.

EFG Engineers (Pty) Ltd is proudly B-BBEE verified in accordance with the Codes of Good Practice under the B-BBEE Act (No. 53 of 2003, as amended). Our certification was independently issued by Renaissance SA Ratings, a SANAS-accredited verification agency.
